In the Community

MID is Committed to the Community

At MID, we believe that serving our community means more than providing irrigation water and electric service. We believe MID has a responsibility to be a good neighbor and responsible business partner. MID is proud to support a host of organizations ranging from United Way of Merced County to the Boys and Girls Club, CASA and numerous local FFA and 4-H programs. Among the many community events we help support are the Merced Downtown Christmas Parade, Pedal Merced, the Merced County Fair and MERCO Cycling Classic. MID’s management team volunteers significant amounts of their time to serving on many of our local nonprofit and community organization boards. The reason is simple. When it comes to Merced County, It’s Our Way of Life.
